SmartViz Launched as an Independent Business
We are pleased, and excited, to be launching SmartViz as an independent business - and a digital twin platform that boosts the performance of buildings, assets and the people who use them.
SmartViz was created and led by Shrikant Sharma during his time at Buro Happold, where he led the Analytics team and developed digital technologies for the built environment, including advanced analytics and simulations products for the clients.
Having successfully introduced SmartViz as the firm’s first SaaS product in partnership with Microsoft, we are pleased to announce the next big step in the SmartViz journey – the launch of SmartViz as an independent business.
We are hoping that this renewed focus will help accelerate digital and data disruption to our industry that desperately needs it - to deal with the challenges of building performance, climate resilience and productivity & wellbeing.
It's been an amazing journey on SmartViz already, esp. thanks to our partnership with Microsoft. The growing network of our collaboration with Bentley Systems, Microshare.io, Scottish Futures Trust, Midlothian Council and CENSIS means there is an increasing firepower behind this platform.
